Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden Hidden Door Achievement Guide
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is Focus Home's and DontNod's giant new RPG. Set up in a similar fashion to God of War, Banishers boasts an absolutely huge map and about 80 hours of content. With that comes many missable achievements, and we're here to help you with one of them.
I'm loving my time with Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden so far. I've beaten the game once with the resurrect ending and am going back through it for the ascend ending. One of the achievements you need is the Hidden Door achievement. You will most likely get this near the end of the game, and it's tied to a side haunting quest you may not even uncover at all. In order to complete the Hidden Door achievement, you need to find the hidden passage in Bligh Manor. This is in Mount Pleasant in the far, north end of the map. You'll be there as part of the "Through a Glass Darkly" haunting quest. There are also three different eyeball weeds to take out. If you happen to wander about the area before you get the ability for Antea, you'll need to come back.
Once you get to this area and enter Bligh Manor, you'll need to clear all the weeds first. They are pretty easy, and the one in the basement only has two opposed to the usual 3 eyeballs. In order to enter the hidden area once you complete the quest, you'll need to do the following:
Step 1 - Head upstairs and go through the center opening at the top of the stairs. Go left around the corner and pick up the "Abbie's note on paintings".
Step 2 - You'll need to move paintings in this order. Bedroom (top stairs right), office (top stairs left), guest room (top stairs behind case on left), ball room (bottom stairs left), dining room (bottom stairs right). You'll hear something move upstairs and the achievement will pop.
Step 3 - Go upstairs into the bedroom and take the key from the bedside table on the right if you haven't already. You'll notice the armoire is now moved and a doorway is visible. This is the hidden room. Enter the room and use the key on the chest to unlock it and pick up the piece of equipment (also needed for the 88 pieces achievement).
It's a completely missable achievement as many players won't even have this area of the map unlocked if you are not going for anything after the main story. Hopefully, this guide helps you on your journey throughout New Eden with Red and Antea. What ending did you get in the end? Let us know below. Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is available now on PS5 and Xbox Series.
