20 – Drampa

Type: Normal/Dragon

Classification: Placid Pokemon

Pokedex: It has a compassionate personality, but if it is angered, it completely destroys its surroundings with its intense breath. This Pokémon is friendly to people and loves children most of all. It comes from deep in the mountains to play with children it likes in town.

Explanation: Drampa is the dragon-type I’ve always dreamed of. Benevolent, cute, whimsical, and yet noticeably powerful, Drampa mixes the best of eastern and western dragon styles. It breaks my heart that Drampa is exclusive to Pokemon Moon, because Drampa is the kind of Pokemon you spend hours walking back and forth in a tiny patch of grass just to catch a glimpse of. While its unique Normal/Dragon typing is doing it absolutely no favors in the weakness/resistance department, the Ghost-type immunity certainly can’t hurt Drampa’s chances in combat.
