Classification: Drowsing Pokemon

Pokedex: It is born asleep, and it dies asleep. All its movements are apparently no more than the results of it tossing and turning in its dreams. The log it holds was given to it by its parents at birth. It has also been known to cling to the arm of a friendly Trainer.

Explanation: Oh. My. Goodness. Look at this koala Pokemon! We’ve never had a koala Pokemon before and Game Freak simply outdid themselves with the cute factor on this little guy. The way he clings to his log, always sleeping and snuggly…Komala is the kind of Pokemon who just makes your heart melt.

That’s all made a bit inconsequential by the fact that otherwise, Komala is a fairly straightforward Normal-type with no evolution or otherwise interesting design quirks beyond its unique ability to…always be asleep, I guess. I’ll forgive Game Freak that if someone at The Pokemon gets it in mind to make a plush out of this little floof. I’ll take 20.
