Christmas will be here before you know it, and if you have a Sony PlayStation enjoyer in your life, we have some deals for you. PlayStation's End of the Year game sale offers up discounts on more than 4,500 games through Dec. 22. Here are a few of App Trigger's favorite deals from the sale:
Mortal Kombat 1 Definitive Edition: $17.49
There was a lot of controversy because Warner Bros cut off support for this game pretty early. I don't know if you've heard, but there's some wild stuff happening with Warner right now. All that said, it's a damn fine fighting game. With appearances from Conan, Omni-Man, and Homelander, this is a fun, bloody brawl that can easily tide us over until Warner figures out who its new corporate overlords are.
Star Wars Outlaws: Deluxe Edition: $26.99
This is another game that shouldn't have its publisher's numerous problems held against it. Outlaws launched in not the best state, but several updates have turned it into the Han Solo-ish smuggler fantasy we were promised. There are no more auto-fail stealth missions, so if you want to blast your way out of a tight spot, you can do that.
Evil West: $14.99
Quick confession, I love games with a Weird West setting. Evil West is a shooter that places you as an agent of a Bureau of Paranormal Research like organization that protects us from all manner of evil creatures. It's a fun romp, and well worth $15.
