The VCT Champions Paris playoffs are here, and already, it has become chaotic and entertaining at the same time.

This all started with Paper Rex (PRX) vs G2 Esports.

A rematch from VCT Masters Toronto, PRX would take that match,  but G2 Esports would be stronger this time around.

Map one would be a tight match, with PRX winning their map pick, Lotus.

The first half would be a back-and-forth match, with them tying up the half, but the second half would be a decisive win streak for PRX and would take the win at 13-11.

Map two would be on Corrode, and it would end in overtime chaos.

Both halves would be tied, and both G2 and PRX went on little streaks to try and get the lead, but they would end up pushing it to overtime.

In overtime, it would be G2 who would get the lead, winning it at 3-1, winning the map at 15-13.

In Map three, the decider map would be Ascent, and in the first half, it looked like G2 Esports would get a comfortable lead on the offence with an 8-4 lead.

In the second half, G2 planned on continuing to grow their lead, but FNATIC would persevere and go on a 9-3 lead, taking over the game and winning at 13-11.

Match MVP would go to PRX’s Something with 68 kills, 48 deaths and 14 assists.

The second Quarter-finals match would be FNATIC taking on DRX.

They meet again at VCT Champions as they have done for the last three years.

Map one would be Haven, DRX’s pick, and they would start the match off with an enormous lead in the first half at 10-2, but the second half would be crazier as FNATIC would go on an 11-1 run and incredibly win map one with a close 13-11 score.

Going in map two, the chaos would continue with DRX getting their revenge.

They would be even during the first half at 6-6, but the second half would be most interesting as FNATIC would take the lead at the start, but DRX would take over with a 7-round win streak.

Now tied at 1-1, map three would be the decider on Lotus.

FNATIC would silence DRX in both halves, as in the first half, FNATIC would start on the attacker's side and gain an 8-4 lead in the first half.

The second half would be no different as they got to continue the lead and finish map three with 13-5, winning 2-1 on the series.

The third quarter-final match would be MIBR vs Team Heretics.

Both teams would start the match evenly, but MIBR would be the one to sweep Team Heretics.

The first map would be MIBR’s Corrode, the first half would be in MIBR’s favour as they had a strong offensive start, but the second half would show Team Heretics taking control on their offensive side, pushing the match to overtime, but MIBR would be the one to secure the win on OT.

With that confidence building for MIBR, they would carry it into map two on sunset, and it would show.

MIBR would start the first half with a strong 9-3 lead on the defence, and going into the second half, Team Heretics would look to come back, but MIBR would win three rounds in a row to sweep Team Heretics to the losers' bracket at 13-6.

Match MVP would be Artizin from MIBR with 39 kills, 24 deaths and 25 assists.

The final match in the quarter finals would be GiantX vs NRG, and it would be a blowout sweep.

Map one would be GiantX’s pick in Haven, but that would soon be their demise as NRG would win the map 13-1.

Map two would be different, with GiantX showing some fight on Lotus, but with NRG picking Lotus, as they had the advantage.

The first half would be a blowout with a 9-3 score; most fans expected a 9-3 curse to happen, but it wouldn’t be in effect as NRG secured the win in the second half, winning 13-6.

GiantX would only get a total of 7 round wins throughout the two maps.

The winners of the quarter-finals will face each other as FNATIC faces Paper Rex and NRG will face MIBR in a regional match-up.

The losers will face elimination as DRX faces G2 Esports and Team Heretics Faces GiantX.
