Around this time last year, we got Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns promoting the very Bloodline centric WWE 2K25. So there were plenty of rumors that we might see something last night on the Stranger Things edition of WWE Monday Night Raw.
We'll have to wait a while longer, as those rumors didn't turn out. There are kinds of ways the roster can go this year, with WWE sharing talent with TNA and outright purchasing AAA back in April. E Hijo De Vikingo and Mr. Iguana are just a couple of the competitors WWE Universe faithful would welcome to the wrestling sim with open arms.
As far as legends, Kamala, Earthquake, and Typhoon are under promotional deals with WWE. The Natural Disasters were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last year. The Great Muta appeared in WWE 2K25 after his HOF induction, so it might be time for the Disasters.
Mick Foley will be an interesting case, as his Legends contract expires in June and he has announced he doesn't plan to renew it. His contract might still allow WWE to use his likeness, but I can't recall a case in which anybody in Foley's situation has expressed such outright disdain with the company. It's definitely a situation we'll be monitoring.
The biggest rumor that didn't pan out was the appearance of Chris Jericho, who has spent the past several years in AEW. File his inevitable return under worst kept secrets, probably at the Royal Rumble later this month. He would also be a great add to the WWE 2K26 roster.
