With the gaming world still stinging from the news that we won't see Grand Theft Auto 6 until May 26, 2026, Rockstar Games dropped a second trailer. It confirms the Bonnie and Clyde story we've heard about, featuring dual protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Who's ready for an adrenaline-soaked gangster love story?

Here's how Rockstar Games describes Jason:

"Jason wants an easy life, but things just keep getting harder. Jason grew up around grifters and crooks. After a stint in the Army trying to shake his troubled teens, he found himself in the Keys doing what he knows best, working for local drug runners. It might be time to try something new. Meeting Lucia could be the best or worst thing to ever happen to him. Jason knows how he'd like it to turn out but right now, it's hard to tell."

And his love interest, the game's other main character, Lucia:

"“Lucia’s father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk. Life has been coming at her swinging ever since. Fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary. Sheer luck got her out. Lucia’s learned her lesson — only smart moves from here. More than anything, Lucia wants the good life her mom has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City — but instead of half-baked fantasies, Lucia is prepared to take matters into her own hands. Fresh out of prison and ready to change the odds in her favor, Lucia’s committed to her plan — no matter what it takes.”

These two are smoking hot. Numerous girls flirt with Jason every time he leaves the house. It also looks like the weightlifting activity from GTA San Andreas returns, allowing you to look even more jacked.

Lucia is confirmed to be wearing the fabulous gold dress we've seen earlier. These two are in the prime of their lives. What could possibly go wrong?

The game's release date teases that things might not end well for this couple. Bonnie Parker's funeral was on May 26, 1934, three days after the pair were gunned down in Louisiana. At her funeral, the Rev. Clifford Andrews said that "deep down in her heart, this lady had a yearning for a better life." That sounds eerily like Lucia's bio.

GTA has dealt with star-crossed lovers before, but they've never been center stage like this. I can't wait to make terrible decisions with this duo next year.
