Are you good at NBA 2K? No, really good, do your make your friends cry as you take their ankles and dunk on their heads? Can you somehow play even better than that? King of the Court is the mode where you'll truly get to show your skills, and in NBA 2K26 you'll have the opportunity to win $10,000 weekly for doing so.
Players battle to post the highest game scores before losing three contests. You'll be ranked in tiers based on performance, with the leaderboard ranking the sum of each player's four best scores. Once you lose three times, your score is locked for the weekend. Tier requirements measure players with 1 percent, 10 percent, and 50 percent thresholds just as in 2K25, but there are some important changes.
The one that will thrill the most fans is the tourney's time has been extended. Previously, you had to log into NBA 2K during a four-hour stretch on Saturday. The event will now run basically the entire weekend, from Friday at 3 p.m. PST to Sunday at 11:59 p.m. PST.
It's also easier to qualify for the competitive mode. The game checks how much REP you've earned the week before the competition, which you can earn through completing in-game challenges or by playing any of 2K's numerous MyTeam modes.
