After sending shockwaves through the MyTeam community with the news that WNBA players will enter the mode, NBA 2K26 is giving us an ideas of the skills they'll bring to the table. The highest-rated players have been revealed, and the Internet has thoughts.

People are complaining about Caitlin Clark's 96 overall rating after an injury-filled campaign for the superstar. That's just business, y'all. Lots of people are only buying the game to play with Caitlin Clark, 2K wants to make sure they have a fun experience.

Angel Reese, ever the lightning rod, has a 90 overall, and of course for her critics, even that's too high. Veteran MyTeam players know that we'll get countless versions of all these athletes throughout the year. At launch, there will be 80 overalls, and we'll spend the next 12 months slowly going from 80 to the eventual 99 overalls.

As for more simulation-based modes, 2K adjusts the ratings as more games are played. If Reese or any other player goes on a hot streak that warrants a ratings increase, they'll get one.

The overall top 50 has some interesting changes as well. Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves has entered the top 50 with an 85 overall rating. It should be exciting to see a full season of he, Luka Doncic, and LeBron James all playing together. With rumors swirling about LeBron leaving, will we only get one such season?

Tyler Herro moves up as well, earning an 85 after a tumultuous year in Miami. He made his first All-Star team and showed what his fans have always known, he's more than just a three-point shooter.

NBA 2K26 releases Sept. 5.
