This summer 2K Sports challenged creators to join forces and unlock a locker code in NBA 2K26 for the community. Once the community reached 2,026 eligible videos, we earned a locker code and 26 lucky creators will receive a whopping 1 million in Virtual Currency.

But let's be honest: that's not what most of us are concerned about. We want the delicious locker code.

First New Locker Code of NBA 2K26

This code unlocks a MyTeam GameOn Pack and a MyPlayer drawstring bag. That's the good news. The bad news? This code only lasts the duration of NBA 2K26 Early Access, which ends Sept. 4. Not gonna lie, that sucks a little bit.

We see time and again with this early access modes that we're paying for the beta. NBA 2K's servers were down for much of the day yesterday. Many players have complained, rightfully so, about the advantages that players are getting by dropping more money. NBA 2K already has numerous pay-to-win elements, and buying the early start seems necessary if you plan to play any of the modes competitively.

Don't even get me started on the content creators who get the game even earlier, and have already maxed out their in-game rep and tricked out their lineups. To be clear, it's their job and they were always going to end up with stacked rep and powerful teams because most folks can't play the game eight hours or more a day.

But if you're playing NBA 2K26, especially in early access, you've agreed to be part of this economy. The overwhelming majority of players for this or any game are casual, so they may never realize or even care about any of this.
