Warborne Studios (awesome name, by the way) has released Lords & Legions into early access, allowing us to build our fantasy kingdoms if we can keep them. Players can command legendary heroes, raise massive armies, and build a dynasty to rival Camelot itself.
In the game's campaign's mode, your hero starts with a single sack of gold, but each victory increases your renown and swells the ranks of your army. Do you have what it takes to cement your legend in this medieval madhouse?
There's also a sandbox mode that allows you to control the conditions you'll build an empire in. You can choose the terrain, weather, and places army of any size or faction to begin battles.
Warborne Studios is the brainchild of Sean Perrson, a 22-year-old developer who taught himself to code and design. In addition to the early access, there's a free demo you can try to see if this is a sword you want to pull from the stone.
Lords and Legions' features include:
