Face front, True Believers! Second Dinner's hit card game Marvel Snap has just announced the Golden Gauntlet World Championship Series, a community-driven tournament designed for players of all skill levels and playstyles. It's completely free to enter and will be broadcast on Twitch and YouTube, where I'm sure we'll see some of our favorite Snap content creators both playing and broadcasting.
If you've never played Marvel Snap, it challenges players to control two of three Marvel universe locations with combinations of heroes from their 12-card deck of superheroes and villains. It takes only a couple of minutes to finish a game, a huge change of pace from the complexity you might see in a CCG such as Magic: The Gathering.
“This is our chance to empower our community and give back to the fans and creators that have supported us for years. The tournament series is about giving players the space and spotlight to celebrate the game they love,” said Aland Failde, SVP of Marketing at Second Dinner.
