Madden players debate whether right-handed Michael Vick is a bug or a feature

Madden 25 Ultimate Team has dropped a Christmas promo called Merry Mix-Ups, which is the typical "out-of-position" promo. It features such cards as Kordell Stewart at running back and Vince Wilfork at kicker. There's also a controversial Michael Vick card that's still a quarterback, but right-handed.
Vick is perhaps the most famous left-handed QB in Madden history, due to his gamebreaking Madden 04 version who was faster than most of the running backs in the game. But in recent years, left-handed signal callers in Madden roll out of the pocket as if moving in molasses.
Vick without good scrambling ability isn't Vick. But this change feels like a cop-out, and EA Sports admitting it has no idea how to fix the left-handed QB issues. Insert "If it's in the game, it's in the game" joke here.
I've always had mixed feelings about these out-of-position offerings. A couple of years ago William "The Refrigerator" Perry was one of the best quarterbacks in Ultimate Team. That seems ridiculous in any competitive setting.
These cards are also a way to sell us the same athletes 3-4 times in a single season, which is the part of the incrementally better content plan that fuels Ultimate Team modes. If people want these cards, EA is going to sell them. But every time I see William Perry or Tim Tebow throw perfect dots, anything that passes for realism vanishes for me.
All that said, Vick's name value alone will continue to move his card. A lot of people just want a powerful Vick, realism be damned. He's currently selling for more than 1 million coins.
