If Madden 26 is not your jam, you can try a mobile experience based on NFL football for the low, low price of free. Madden 26 Mobile is now available to download on Android or iOS with two separate game modes.
Ultimate Team is the card-collecting, build your own franchise from the ground up mode that EA makes millions from annually. You can complete challenges, play games, and earn rewards to build your dream team the way you want it. If you love Christian McCaffrey, keep him. If you think he's a bum who ruined your fantasy football team last year, use him to get a player you like better.
Seasons functions more like the classic simulation mode that if you're an old-timer like me, you'll remember was standard before the days of those fancy card packs. You'll use actual NFL rosters so if all the acquiring cards and setting the perfect lineup isn't fun for you, this is the mode you'll want to spend the most time in.
In VS Mode, you and opponent battle for the best performance on various challenges. EA gives one example, "Score a Touchdown from the 40-yard line in three plays." Success in these challenges earns your team fans, which allows you to climb an in-game leaderboard.
Team of the Week shares a name with a popular MUT promotion in the main Madden game, but here it's slightly different. Some of the top performers during the NFL season will get special boosted cards through events, packs, and sets. This seems similar to how MLB The Show boosts specific cards for a while after a player has a huge game. I always love collecting those.
If you'd like a more compact and in a lot of ways, possibly less stressful experience than Madden 26, this may be the game for you.
