This is the start of the losers bracket round one with DRX, G2 ESports, Team Heretics and GIANTX all at the edge of elimination.
All four teams wouldn’t go out without a fight as they both push their series to map three.
The first would be DRX vs G2 Esports.
Map one would be G2’s pick in Lotus, and they would start hot.
The first half would be an 8-4 lead by G2 Esports on the offence, with Jawgemo leading the fight with 13 kills, 9 deaths and 2 assists.

The second half would be G2’s attempt at a comeback, by taking a 5-2 run, but with DRX winning those two rounds, they would be at match point, until they sealed the deal with a score of 13-7 with Mako taking map MVP with 21 kills, 10 deaths and 11 assists.

Map one would start on Ascent, GiantX’s map pick, and it would not be good for them, as Team Heretics would start the match on the defensive side with a lead of 8-4, mainly due to kills.
Team Heretics would secure the map one with a smooth 5-round win streak in the second half, ending map one with 13-4 with RieNs taking map MVP with 23 Kills, 8 deaths and 4 assists.
In map two, Team Heretics would choose Lotus, but even though they came into this map with a blowout win and the confidence, GiantX would show that beating them wouldn’t be easy.
The first half started with a small lead by Heretics with 3-2, but GiantX would go off, getting a 7-round win streak to lead in the first half with a score of 9-3.
GiantX would continue to grow that lead and win map two 13-3 with Westside taking map MVP with 16 kills, 7 deaths and 3 assists.
Going into map three, both teams didn’t want to end this match on a blowout, so they would play this GiantX, and Team Heretics would go into this map level-headed.
In the first half, GiantX would take the lead at 7-5 with Grubinho leading his team with 12 kills, 7 deaths and 9 assists.
Heretics now down in map three, they needed to go on a run if they wanted to win and stay alive, which is what they’d do.
Team Heretics would go on a miraculous run in the second half on the defensive side, going on an 8-2 run, taking the lead, growing the deficit and winning map three 13-9 with MiniBoo taking map MVP with 19 kills, 17 deaths and 4 assists.
