Galaxy of Heroes players demanded a Journey Guide version of Master Mace Windu, and the game has given the people what they want. This version of the character draws inspiration from Revenge of the Sith and the novel Mace Windu: The Glass Abyss.
He brings the new mechanic Investigation into the game. It can stack up to five times and then cast Revealed on an enemy. With that status, they suffer: -75% Critical Damage; can't Stealth; can't attack out of turn, and are Exposed for 1 turn, which can't be evaded or resisted, at the start of each unit's turn if they didn't already have it; enemies can ignore Taunt effects to target this unit.
Dang! As an added thematic bonus, Galactic Legends and Sith can't be revealed. After all, before Order 66 they were really, really good at hiding in plain sight. Windu also provides a lot of bonuses to fellow Jedi and one very thematic nerf to a particular Jedi.
Windu grants Mastery to ally Vanguards that gain Deflective Ward. But if an ally Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker is present, he does not gain the increase. This is a nod to the eminently memeable scene in which Anakin is allowed on the Jedi Council, but does not gain the rank of Master.
With the abilities provided by Mace Windu, Jedi Vanguard squads are eating well in Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes. The game allows you to put together the Star Wars team of your dreams from every era of the galaxy far, far away. It's available on PC, iOS, and Android devices.
