WWE Women's Champion Jade Cargill is famous for two things: dominating opponents and serving incredible looks while doing so. One of her fans mentioned that WWE 2K hasn't done such a great job with the second thing, and Cargill herself signed off on it through X:
Yeah. Cause out of all the gears Iβve worn yall chose one from two years ago is crazy.I spend WAY too much money on my gears. Which are always top notch π πΎ https://t.co/Y9o94TBxf3

You might expect them to take liberties with a lesser known superstar, but this the literal women's champion. Cargill isn't the first to call 2K out about their character model. Nikki Bella hated the way she looked in WWE 2K25, and said so on an episode of the Nikki and Brie Show podcast.
Brie shared an anecdote about her son Buddy cutting his own hair, and noted that he did a better job on his bangs than whoever designed Nikki's bangs in 2K25.
" I didn't even look like a female fully," Nikki said of the character model. Brie said she thought whoever designed it was "f**ckin with her."
Making matters worse, Nikki Bella was extra DLC not included in the game's Season Pass. Her fans got a crazy looking character model and had to put in extra effort to get it.
You can look, but you canβt touch. π

Players suspect that this was Nikki's character model from a couple of years ago. Which, if she didn't do motion capture last year, is probably exactly what happened. But the current women's champ is surely available for mocap. For that matter, do they even need to capture her just to change her outfit? We'll see what Jade's gear looks like soon, as WWE 2K26 is coming on March 13.
