Mobile quarterbacks have been breaking Madden for decades now, and that's when they work the way they're supposed to. Pro players have discovered a new trick that makes speedy signal callers even more powerful.

Play action is supposed to slow your QB down, at least a little. But this is Madden 25 we're talking about, there's always a new exploit of some kind. Certain play-action pass plays give your quarterback a turbo boost NFL Blitz would be envious of. Once you get the hang of it, opposing defenders will be grasping at air.

You'll need a play that has your running back lined up with a slight curve in his play art, and he needs to be lined up on the side your QB throws from. A perfect play for this is PA Slot Corner from the Gun Trips TE formation. It's available in these playbooks: PHI, CLE, GB, HOU, NE, SEA, and Run n Gun.

The signal caller gets a speed boost that can turn this into a quick QB run. You'll hold sprint and get out of Dodge as fast as you can. Or you can use the speed boost to run the play how it's designed, rolling out and gaining yardage with a quick pass. If you plan to do it that way, you can double team the edge rusher on the side you're planning to roll out on.

The Truzz X-Factor can be a huge help with this and your other QB runs. Once it's active, your player can't fumble the ball no matter hard he's hit. Once you mix this glitch in with designed QB runs, RPOs and good running plays, your opponent's defense won't know whether they're coming or going.

A glitch this big would likely get patched in midseason. But with the Super Bowl behind us, I don't know how many more updates Madden is getting. This rollout could be rolling for a good long time.
