The Year of the Indie continues as Hades 2 picked up the win for Best Action Game at The 2025 Game Awards. With a Metacritic rating of 95 after 55 reviews, is the best scored game of the year so far.
The other nominees in this stacked category were Battlefield 6, Doom: The Dark Ages, Ninja Gaiden 4, and Shinobi: Art of Vengeance.
