I give NBA 2K25 and its MyTeam mode a lot of criticism, and they earn every bit of it. That said, I still sink hundreds of hours into it. When they do something right, I'm always gonna let you know and this is one of those times. There's a 100 overall player up for grabs thanks to the latest locker code in game.

The new code is simple enough: 100-OVERALL-PLAYER. Here's how to input it:

1. Go to the Market screen on MyTeam.

2. Select Locker Codes.

3. Type the code in when prompted. It's not case sensitive, but the dashes are necessary.

These codes only work for a limited time, so don't delay if you plan to play this season. If you're a PlayStation Plus member, Sony has just announced that NBA 2K25 is one of the free offerings in June.

If you haven't started MyTeam yet, Season 7 offers you a lot of opportunities to catch up. This 100 overall player is a huge help. The free reward track offers an Invincible Paul George at Level 40, and a 100 overall player pack at Level 37.

And if you don't mind spending a little cash on the mode, the Pro Pass offers a 100 overall Zion Williamson as part of the $9.99 purchase. I know, I know. Now I've become a part of the scummy NBA 2K economy by promoting it out loud. I play other card games, including Magic: The Gathering, and they all have some way into your wallet.

It's ultimately up to you whether you decide to play for fun, for competitive glory, or avoid it altogether.
