In the final match of round one of the Swiss stage, Gen.G would make their return to VCT Masters after missing out on VCT Masters Bangkok in February.

It would also be a VCT Masters debut for Made In Brazil (MIBR), they have struggled in past to make a VCT Major, and finally, they have made it, but are the underdogs coming out of NA so they have a lot to prove in this major.

Map one would be MIBR’s pick, Sunset.

It would be a major upset, though, as Gen.G would look to roll over MIBR for 6 rounds.

It wouldn’t be until round 7 that MIBR would find themselves in an advantageous spot, where Gen.G unfortunately made mistakes that got them picked off.

MIBR would look to continue that momentum, but it would get snuffed out immediately.

Going into half-time, Gen.G would be up with a score of 9-3.

If fans were expecting the 9-3 curse to come in, during this major, they would have to wait as Gen.G would close out the second half with a score of 4-2.

Collectively, Gen.G got the win with a score of 13-5, and Foxy9 would get the team and map MVP with 18 Kills, 8 Deaths and 3 Assists.

After the devastating first map loss, MIBR looked to regroup and make a change to their game plan.

The second map would be a Gen.G pick, Haven, and it looked like that pick was their bread and butter as they would go on to obliterate MIBR out of the water.

Gen.G wouldn’t let MIBR breathe as they would go on and win the second map, with a score of 13-1.

T3xture from Gen.G would take map MVP and match MVP with his total score at the end of the game being 35 Kills, 17 Deaths and 9 Assists.

Gen.G moved forward in the Swiss stage, awaiting one more win to move on to the playoff stage.

For MIBR, they join the losers' bracket and will have to climb their way back up if they want to continue their VCT Masters Toronto journey.
