February 2026 PlayStation Plus free games are alright, I guess

Since we almost in February, I'll go ahead and deploy my first Valentine Day's related quip. I am not in love with any of these games, and I already own one of them. The PlayStation Plus free offerings for February 2026 have arrived, let's check 'em out!

Undisputed

The lead here is Steel City Interactive's 2024 boxing title Undisputed. I picked this up on sale for about $20 a few months ago and felt that was a fair price. Now I'm kicking myself for not realizing it was always going to end up here as a free title.

It's traveling the same route as other sports games including Madden and NBA 2K. It has players because it's the only pro boxing game available with a current roster. The thing players are more excited about than Undisputed's existence is that EA is talking about reviving the Fight Night franchise again. There are more than 70 boxers here including Sugar Ray Leonard, Jake LaMotta and of course, Muhammad Ali, exclusive to this franchise through 2037. That's a boxing contract, alright.

Subnautica: Below Zero

This sequel sends players back to the Artic to figure out what happened to the people that used to live there. I heard they found the word "Croatoan" chiseled into the ice somewhere. Like boxing aficionados, I suspect you're playing this if you enjoy underwater survival games, because we don't exactly get an overload of them.

Ultros

And here is the obligatory PS Plus game whose existence I have never heard of before. This 2024 platformer from developer places you aboard the Sacrophagus, where a demo called Ultros is causing all kinds of trouble. There's slicing, dicing, and puzzle solving and this one has a Metacritic rating of 81.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

If you watch Top Gun at least once a week, this game is for you. That said, you probably also picked it up already because it came out in 2019. But nobody does aerial combat as well as this series right now.

And there you have it, folks. February 2026's PlayStation Plus games. Maybe Sony is trying to help you spend more time with your significant other for Valentine's Day? Because this crop of games is not keeping you away.
