Conventions are, without a doubt, one of the backbones of the gaming industry. From consoles to game releases, interviews, and demos, it is one of the best ways to stay updated on some of the newest information available. With the explosion of livestreaming and the speed at which information can be shared online, it makes that sentiment all the more true, especially for those of us who can't find the time to make it to the events themselves but still want the latest on everything from Nintendo to PC, PlayStation, and, of course, Xbox.

Earlier this week, Xbox had its presentation at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. Over three days, we not only got to see the future of Xbox itself, but also where it believes its strengths lie, as well as the wellspring of new title releases, interviews, and gameplay teasers for many anticipated titles, such as Black Ops 7 and Hollow Knight: Silksong. If you're a fan of Xbox or gaming in general, there was something here for everybody.
