EA offers up several shall we say incentives to play both College Football 26 and Madden 26, particularly its money-printing Ultimate Team modes. I freely acknowledge how addictive both are. I will not blame you if you don't care to start. One great thing about both games, there are multiple extremely fun modes to play. If you have played both, here's a lightning-quick way to earn a bunch of XP.

If you have played CUT, when you log into MUT today you'll get an XP token that is the only item needed to complete a set for a whopping 123,000 XP. I haven't played MUT since the Early Access Event and this token took me all the way to level 15. At Level 44, near the end of the reward track, you'll earn a Season 2 XP Token that works in a similar fashion. If you played College Football, you're already almost halfway there.

By the way, I've heard that you don't even need to buy CFB 26. Players I've talked to say they did the free CFB 26 trial, which allowed them to play CUT, and got the token as well.

Season 1 of MUT will run through Sept. 16, taking us just past the start of the actual NFL season. One of the new programs is Preseason Standouts, which focuses on players who show out during the practice games. Hey, these are important for people trying to make teams or prove they have recovered from a serious injury. They're also important for fantasy football, and MUT has more than a little in common with that game.
