Not content just to dominate the console and PC soccer scene, EA Sports FC has brought its simulation dynasty to handheld devices in FC Mobile.

“We’re celebrating the power of our players to shape a fan-first future for football with the launch of FC 26 and our FC Mobile 26 Update,” Nick Wlodyka, Group GM, EA SPORTS FC, said. “From the overhauled gameplay in FC 26 that’s driven by player feedback, to fan-voted content in FC Mobile, we’re co-creating a global football community that is more expressive, dynamic, and committed than ever before.”

One of last year's biggest complaints was that lofted through passes were way overpowered. They've been fine tuned, giving defenders more time to react. Also, their accuracy has been tweaked so longer passes will have higher penalties, which makes logical sense.

Players and fans in every sport I have ever covered hate the officials, but in the world of gaming we can actually do something to improve them. Referees will be more realistic with the violations they pick out. Slight bumps won't generate fouls, and skill moves into a defender won't guarantee fouls either.

FC Mobile 26 says this is a work in progress, and they'll be listening to feedback throughout the season. Now, if a ref screws your team over in the real world? Sorry, I can't do anything to help you.

The FC Mobile 26 Update introduces major improvements to gameplay, enhanced visuals, a roster refresh with 100+ new Star Heads, expanded tactical flexibility with new formations, and limited-time rewards in the FC Mobile Anniversary Event, including those voted on by fans.
