There were several video games that helped me and millions of other people through the pandemic in 2020. An underrated one is Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, an action RPG chronicling the many, many battles that Goku has had on his anime adventures. The game has sold more than 10 million copies since 2020. That's a whole lot of Kamehamehas.
This game is still getting updates nearly six years later, which is absolutely awesome. Next up, mighty foes from the Demon Realm await in DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT DAIMA - Adventure Through the Demon Realm Pack Part 2. This DLC features two new playable characters, enemy encounters from the Demon Realm, and a boss fight against Tamagami Number Two.
In DAIMA – Adventure Through the Demon Realm Part 2, Goku and his friends will fight powerful foes in the First and Second Demon Worlds in an effort to defeat King Gomah. Play as Vegeta (Mini) and Goku (Super Saiyan 4), against enemies such as Tamagami Number Two (guardian of the Two-Star Dragon Ball), the Gendarmerie Tank, and Gendarmerie Force (the elite division of the Demon Realm’s military police).
The DLC is free if you purchased the Season Pass or the Daima Edition, otherwise it's $34.99. I'm a proud owner of this game, and there is so much content. There's even a DBZ collectible card game that you can very easily get lost in and forget about the main quest for a while (cough cough)
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
