I don't know if you're aware, but there are some times that some crimes go slipping through the cracks. If you're a 90s' kid, you know that there are two gumshoes picking up the slack. Your childhood was awesome if you thrilled to the exploits of Scrooge McDuck, Chip N' Dale, and Baloo. Among the incredible merchandise they had were some great video games from Capcom. The Disney Afternoon Collection compiled them, and now the 2017 re-release is appearing in the Nintendo Switch eShop in some regions. The Collection previously appeared on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
The Switch version adds Goof Troop and Bonkers, two games that weren't apart of the collection in 2017. Bonkers came toward the end of the Disney Afternoon's run, and I didn't even know he ever had a game. I never played that one or Goof Troop, but I can vouch for the Darkwing Duck and DuckTales games.
Kids who grew up with Disney's games didn't know how good we had it. DuckTales and Darkwing Duck were incredible platformers in Capcom's time-honored tradition. Games such as Aladdin and The Lion King were also amazing. We had an embarrassment of riches, and grew up thinking all licensed games would be this good.
With the new additions to the collection, here's the full list of games in this collection.
