NetEase Games' Destiny Rising was one of 2025's best surprises. More than just "mobile Destiny" it expanded the hit shooter franchise in meaningful ways and earned accolades from players. Season 3 Act 1 has arrived, bringing a whole bunch of goodies just in time for the holidays.
The classic Destiny 2 raid "Crota's End" enters Destiny Rising on January 3rd! Players will face Crota, the Hive’s first god-level boss and son of the Taken King, in an epic confrontation. Those who successfully complete the challenge get an exclusive reward for their hard work.
Oh yes, there's more. This season also introduces Bulwark Ops, a brand-new Tower Defense game mode on December 30. Players can unlock both solo and three-player co-op options after completing specific tasks, and defend against a maximum 30 waves of enemy attacks by shooting and strategically placing defensive towers. Players earn points by eliminating enemies to purchase towers, and obtain towers after finishing stages to enhance combat effectiveness. The battlefields are designed with different environments, requiring players to adapt and deploy various defensive towers to defeat these challenges.
Still not enough? To celebrate the new season, Kabr, the Resolute, will join Destiny Rising as a way to give back to players. Players guarantee the acquisition of this powerful Mythic Arc character by completing specific operational activities.
