Let me start by saying this is a Reddit leak, one which has since been deleted. But we're all devouring any tiny bit of Grand Theft Auto 6 news right now. I've encountered quite a few leakers who are spot on with the tidbits they give us. Only time will tell if this Redditor is one of them.

The leaker claims to have worked on the game. They said we can expect variable NPC density at city centers/beaches based on the day of the week. Some NPCs who are seen on the beach on the weekend will be seen at work during the week.

They also promise in-game events and concerts with branded T-shirts.

I'm not saying this Redditor is wrong, but I am thinking of some of the tricks "psychics" use. The body is buried near water. Of course, it is, Professor X. Water covers 70 percent of the globe. Nothing announced here is wild or game-breaking. The Fallout games have had NPCs only available at certain times for 20 years.

In-game branded events are a current staple of Fortnite, and they make perfect sense in GTA as well. I'm sure I could whip up a list of similar "leaks" for Madden 26. There will be a new type of tackle. There will also be some changes to catching mechanics.

Deleting the post is an extra touch that gives the air of being legitimate. "Oooh, Rockstar Games made them take this down!"

If any of this is true, it will probably appear in the first deep dive about the game we get. After all, once the trailer leaked in December 2023 Rockstar just released the full version. But surely we'll hear something real soon, right Rockstar?
