Madden 26 and College Football 26 are both touting their new dynamic weather features. Things such as heavy fog, snow, and rain will affect player movement, ball security, and visibility among other things. If visibility is low enough, you won't see the wide receiver icons when you try to throw the ball. But as it turns, college football fans have had enough rain games during the first two weeks of their experience.
We have updated the progress & rewards screens for players so that they are now easier to understand.

Position Changes
You can now change a player's position within their current position group without penalty to their skill caps. You’ll be free to swap positions within these groupings:
Running Back (FB, RB)
Offensive Line (LT, LG, C, RG, RT)
Defensive Line (LEDG, REDG, DT)
Linebacker (SAM, MIKE, WILL)
Defensive Back (CB, FS, SS)
Specialist (K, P)
Athlete (ATH) Recruits can now set their initial position without impact to their skill group caps.
A player’s new skill caps are now more strongly influenced by their Development Trait and school year. Younger players and those with higher Development Traits will have higher skill caps at their new position.
Addressed a Coach Point exploit when retiring and then creating a new coach character.
Reduced the impact of the Reach Your Potential ability (Motivator Tier 1) for better coach ability and recruiting balance.
Note: This affects the influence given to recruits when a player at their position hits a skill group cap.
Road To Glory
Fixed an issue where the pre-order bonus would be applied at the start of your second season after redshirting
Ultimate Team
Campaigns:
Leaderboard Campaigns are new, limited-time competitions tied to specific programs that will place you on a leaderboard with a small group of players, making every game impactful. These will be available right from the Ultimate Team main menu, and whether you prefer Head-to-Head or Solo play, your performance on key objectives like points scored or wins determines your leaderboard placement. These will vary with each program that campaigns are associated with and what you earn will vary depending on the tier that you unlock.
Event Lineup Building challenges:
We are introducing new types of events that will challenge players to build their best team within a set of team requirements, in order to enter program specific events. As well as an easier way for users to alter their lineups to meet these requirements.
E.G - Build your strongest ALL-SEC team and take on other players in the H2H Conference Clash Event.
Head to the Event screen to find information on currently active Live Events. From here, you can build your best available lineup for this event with a few button presses.
Directly from the Lineup screen, you will be able to browse which events are currently available and get information as to each event’s requirements. If your lineup meets the requirements, you’re good to go. If you have holes in your roster, it will be identified for you, and you will be given paths to acquire the missing pieces.
