Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is about to win a whole truckload of awards, and that run got going in earnest at The Golden Joystick Awards. It notched seven wins, including Ultimate Game of The Year, Best Studio for Sandfall, while Ben Starr and Jennifer English both won for their vocal performances. Every trophy it was up for, it took home.
Sony exclusive Ghost of Yotei snagged best Console Game, while Hollow Knight Silksong won Best Indie Game: Self-Published. The debate about what an indie game even is raging anew, as Clair Obscur will likely dominate these awards and win several indie awards even though it has become a multi-million dollar blockbuster.
