Pride Month has returned, and to celebrate, Xbox has launched its annual roster of Pride goodies. From special in-game events to curated collections, and even a free award-winning game, Xbox is bringing a lot to the table this year. Read on to find out everything they're doing for Pride this year.
Special In-Game Events
Gamers have a lot to look forward to this June, with multiple in-game events happening to celebrate Pride. Overwatch 2 is offering a special Soldier: 76 skin and is bringing back the iconic Pride Festival Midtown map.
Meanwhile, Sea of Thieves players can swap out their pirate flags for the Pride flag after getting one from Larinna outside the tavern. Plus, Xbox has announced that this isn't just a Pride Month exclusive. The flag will be a part of the game moving forward.

A Curated LGBTQ Collection
For queer gamers, one of the best resources Xbox offers is actually year-round. Online and in the Xbox Store on your console, you can search through their curated LGBTQIA+ collection. From gay lead characters to games created by queer developers, same-sex romance options, and more, the collection has a lot to offer. You can check out games like Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Thirsty Suitors, Arcade Spirits, and more.
Tell Me Why...FOR FREE!
Xbox is also offering free downloads of the award-winning game Tell Me Why. Set in an Alaskan town, the narrative game focuses on the relationship between two reunited twins as they grapple with the past and prepare for the future. The game was praised for its gripping narrative, impactful choices, and queer themes. It earned various nominations and even won The Game Awards' Game for Impact award.
Xbox Pride Goodies
Right now the Xbox store is loaded with great Pride-themed merch. Gamers can find Xbox Pride merch, as well as Pride-themed items for games like Halo, Sea of Thieves, Age of Empires, and more.
Players can also download a Pride-themed dynamic wallpaper for free. Xbox says that to get the wallpaper, you'll first press the Xbox button on your controller, then select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization > My background > Dynamic backgrounds.
