Steam's annual Winter Sale is upon us, and lasts all the way through January 5. Time to save money on games we will soon forget that we bought. Hey, we'll get around to playing them, I swear! In any case, here are some deals on some of App Trigger's favorite games.
Dying Light: The Beast - $48
This game was initially slated as DLC for Dying Light, but Techland had more in mind for the next shambling leg of protagonist Kyle Crane's journey. As a zombie-human hybrid, he has all kinds of power at his disposal. Can he use it without succumbing to his inner monster?
Rematch - $20
Sloclap, best known for Sifu, threw us a serious surprise with its football player simulator. Controlling just one player on the pitch makes it an entirely different experience, but it's absolutely a fun one. Season 2's recent update adds better ball control and new goalkeeper animations. If this interests you, check out my review here.
Doom: The Dark Ages - $34.99
Death, taxes, and Doomguy. If you're an alien or demon, that last step will take you right back to death. Doom: The Dark Ages embraces all its video crazy in the best possible way, and you can't go wrong on one of the year's best games at this price.
"Doom: The Dark Ages is a fantastic addition to the franchise that combines a great setting, improved features, and Doom's trademark fast-paced madness, creating one of my favorite new FPSs in a long time," our Keith Langston wrote in his review.
Jurassic World Evolution 3 - $47.99
This Game Awards nominee for Best Sim/Strategy Game is being hailed as the ultimate game for living out your John Hammond fantasies. With over 91 dinosaur species, juvenile dinos, and a diabolical organization out to sabotage your facilities, you'll have your hands full.
