A44 Games has been polishing up their newest RPG Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn for while now, and we finally have a concrete release window. Accompanied by a new gameplay trailer, we don’t have too much longer to wait to get our hands on it.

In Flintlock: Siege of Dawn, we will play as coalition army member Nor Vanek. Accompanied by her mystical fox-like companion, it is up to her to defeat the god’s army of the undead as the door to the afterlife has been opened. Combat will feature a variety of mechanics utilizing axe, guns and magic. Combinations using all three attack types leaves us with a huge array of possibilities.

You’ll be able to use Enki to help fast travel and ping areas of interest while exploring. In addition, Nor Vanek can use these areas in order to surprise attack enemies from above instead of heading in for a straight forward attack. A44 originally planned to release Flintlock in early 2022, but saw it delayed twice before we got a generic 2024 release window.

With the newest trailer, we don’t have a specific date yet, but rather a window of Summer 2024.

Flintlock: Siege of Dawn becomes more interesting each time we see it. The old gods have opened the gates to the city of Dawn after their world is collapsing. Attempting to take it over in order to survive, they must wipe out its current inhabitants. Nor Vanek and Enki will embark on their journey to prevent the gods from succeeding and sending them back to where they belong.

The trailer above shows incredible aerial combat as well as fast, parkour-like travel and navigation. Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn will release Summer of 2024 on Xbox Series, PS5 and PC. Will you be picking it up? Let us know what you think about this new story-driven RPG below.
