Walmart Black Friday 2023 sale: PS5 and PS4 game deals

It’s officially Black Friday week! Although the biggest shopping day of the year isn’t supposed to actually happen until the day after Thanksgiving, Walmart has announced that Black Friday deals will go live start on Wednesday, November 22 at 3:00 p.m. ET. Those who are Walmart+ members will actually get to shop online three hours early as Early Access begins at 12:00 pm. ET.

Walmart has gone ahead and posted the planned sales for Black Friday, which includes savings on PS5 and PS4 video games and accessories. While you won’t be able to buy anything until Wednesday, here’s a quick look at some of the sale items:

Walmart Black Friday 2023 PS5 game discounts

Walmart is offering some incredible discounts on some of this year’s biggest games. Most discounts are $29 off the regular price, knocking down the price to $40 for most PS5 games.

• Assassin’s Creed Mirage – $40 (save $29)
• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II – $40 (save $29)
• Mortal Kombat 1 – $40 (save $29.99)
• Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition – PlayStation 5 + Spider-Man Remastered – $40 (save $29.99)
• Dead Space Remake – $40 (save $29.99)
• Hogwarts Legacy – $40 (save $29)
• Horizon: Forbidden West – $39 (save $26)
• Madden NFL 24 – $30 (save $39)
• The Last of Us Part I – $40 (save $29.99)
• Diablo IV – $60 (save $9)

Walmart Black Friday 2023 PS4 game discounts

For those still playing on last-gen there are still a few sales to be had on PS4 games.

• God of War Ragnarok – $30 (save $29)
• Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach – $20 (save $19)
• Marvel’s Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition – $20 (save $19.99)
• Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales – $15 (save $34.99)
• Hogwarts Legacy – $30 (save $38.63)

As you can see, there are quite a few solid games that are going to be on sale this week. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is going for $30 at just about every other retailer as well this holiday season. As far as PlayStation exclusives are concerned, you really can’t go wrong with God of War Ragnarok or Horizon: Forbidden West, although they are both sequels, so you may want to play their previous games first.

It should be noted that there are limited quantities, so it may be a good idea to join Walmart+ for those extra early shopping hours. It costs $98 for the year or $12.95 for the month. Unfortunately, the 30-day trial does not include Early Access to the Black Friday sale.
