Assassin’s Creed Mirage: New Game Plus coming very soon

We have just past the one-month mark since Assassin’s Creed Mirage has officially been released. By now, if you have stuck with the grind, you should just about be done with everything Assassin’s Creed Mirage has to offer. More than likely you have finished the main story, and you are just going through to clean up any side quests and collectibles. Well, be prepared to have even more to accomplish is AC Mirage because Ubisoft dropped a big announcement in regards to their game.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is getting two new game modes this December

Ubisoft made a big announcement on their X page that two new game modes will be available as soon as next month. The first being the highly requested New Game Plus game mode. New Game Plus is a staple in video games now a days and has been requested by a large number of gamers in the Assassin’s Creed community to bring it into Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

The second half of their announcement stated that a new Permadeath game mode will be available across all AC Mirage difficulties. This game mode is going to be for the hardcore fans of the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

Fans should be well aware of what New Game Plus is. New Game Plus is going to allow you to replay the entire AC Mirage story again, but this time run through it again with all the weapons and skills that you earned through your first playthrough. Enemies will be harder, but those harder enemies are balanced with all of the gear you get to carry over from your first playthrough. Obviously, each New Game Plus is different from game to game. It all depends how Ubisoft wants to handle New Game Plus in AC Mirage, but more details about what to expect will be coming out shortly.

The other new game mode is the new Permadeath game mode. This sounds like it can be fun, but something that may make you want to throw your controller at the wall at the same time. In Permadeath game modes, once you die it is game over permanently. You will have the choice to play through the entire Assassin’s Creed Mirage game in this mode, but if you die at any point, you won’t be able to respawn. Instead, if you want to play again, you will have to start the game all over again.

The Permadeath game mode is obviously going to be an Assassin’s toughest challenge. It doesn’t matter how far you get in the game, there are no checkpoints. One death and your entire run is gone for good. This new game mode brings in a completely new challenge to the Assassin’s Creed franchise and it will definitely put hardcore Assassin’s Creed fans to the test. You will really have to put your Assassin’s stealth to the test in this game mode.

Ubisoft promises that more details about these game modes and the December update will be coming soon. We don’t have every detail on what we can expect yet, but we do know these modes are going to be hitting the game sooner rather than later.

For the time being, finish up any last-minute content you want to complete. This way when New Game Plus releases, you will be ready to go and ready to jump into a second playthrough of Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
