How to upgrade Alan’s inventory in Alan Wake 2

If you are looking to upgrade Alan’s inventory, there aren’t many options to do so. However, there is one way you can do it.

In order to upgrade Alan’s inventory, you are going to need to purchase the inventory space using the Words of Powers that you find. By finding a Words of Power, you can use it to purchase the Magic Pocket Skill under the Words of Stuff category and it will increase Alan’s inventory by 1 row.

There are a couple of different places to find these special Words of Stuff. The first one can be found during Initiation 5: Room 665 Chapter. In order to find this one, make your way inside the Oceanview Hotel’s ballroom. Once you are inside the ballroom, you are going to want to shine your flashlight on the ceiling around the bar area. The flashlight will make the Words of Stuff visible, and you can take it.

The other location you can find a Words of Stuff is when you make it to Initiation 8: Zane’s Film. You will want to make sure that you make it to the rooftop of Poet’s Cinema. On the rooftop you will see tons of spotlights. Behind the left spotlight you will see the Words of Stuff and it will be yours for the taking.

Once you have found one of the Words of Stuff, you can use it to purchase the Magic Pocket Skill and Alan’s inventory will increase by a full row. As of right now, this is the only way known to increase Alan’s inventory. Nonetheless, one upgrade is better than no upgrades.

Once you have found all of these upgrades for both Saga and Alan in Alan Wake 2, you will have maxed out the inventory for both characters and will have a lot more freedom as to what you can carry on each character.
