Target Black Friday 2023 PS5 and PS4 deals

We’re not even out of October yet and Target has unleashed its 2023 Black Friday deals. From now through the holidays, you can save on the latest video games, with new deals coming each week. Target is promising to price match if an item goes lower than what you purchased it for between October 22 and December 24.

For now, we’re focusing specifically on PlayStation deals currently being offered at Target. Here are the current 2023 Black Friday deals on PS5 and PS4 items:

Target 2023 Black Friday PS4 and PS5 games

  • Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla (PS5/PS4): $14.99 ($39.99)
  • Forspoken (PS5): $29.99 ($49.99)
  • MLB The Show 23 (PS5): $29.99 ($49.99)
  • MLB The Show 23 (PS4): $19.99 ($39.99)
  • Star Wars Jedi: Survivor: $34.99 ($69.99)

There aren’t a ton of games on sale right now but Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Forspoken are two very good games. These both released earlier this year which explains why they are among the first discounted during the holiday season. I’m hoping we’ll see additional discounts on other popular PS5 exclusives such as God of War: Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West and more.

Right now, the holiday must-have games on PlayStation will be Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 which just released and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which arrives on November 10. Given that both are brand new and among the biggest games of the year, I wouldn’t count on them being discounted. However, you may be able to get them as part of a buy one, get one 50% off type deal. Right now, there is no such offer at Target though.

There’s not a ton of great deals on PlayStation games right now, but it’s still early. With new sales being introduced weekly, I’m sure more games will drop in price. I doubt we’ll see any sort of price reduction on the PS5 console and while I’m hoping for savings on a DualShock controller. If there is any sort of Black Friday sale on a PS5 controller, it will probably be something like $10 off.
