It is no secret that any Midas skin in a great option for Fortnite players, but Shadow Midas is the best Midas skin for the Halloween season. Released in 2021, Shadow Midas turned the Chapter 2 boss into an even deadlier threat.

The skin possesses a unique shadow effect that increases with each successful elimination. In fact, the purple glow could grow to cover Midas’ hands, arms, and gear. Although the gold Midas skin still reigns supreme, the purple and black design is a nice touch for Halloween.

Epic Games tends to bring back the Shadow Midas skin every year in late October. Although the original Midas skin is incredibly rare, the Shadow Midas Outfit has appeared in the Item Shop 17 times in the last three years. At the time of writing, it has yet to make its return for Fortnitemares 2023, but if past release patterns are any indication, we can expect Shadow Midas by the end of October 2023.
