The Left-Wing player ratings are one of the positions that have been revealed, and the list may or may not shock you depending on what you were expecting to see this year.

This list is a whole lot different than the top Left-Wing players in NHL 23. In NHL 23, there were three players that were tied for the highest overall. Those players were Jonathan Huberdeau, Artemi Panarin, and Alex Ovechkin. Even though Jonathan Huberdeau was considered the top Left-Wing player in NHL 23 because of every one of his other stats, all three of those players were given a 92 Overall. As you can tell by the ratings on this list, EA Sports has decided to give higher player ratings for NHL 24.
The first thing that you will notice is that there is a new number one top rated Left Wing in NHL 24. That honor is going to Matthew Tkachuk, who helped lead the Florida Panthers on a magical run to the Stanley Cup playoffs. Matthew Tkachuk is all alone at the top with a 94 overall rating.
Another thing you will notice is that Alex Ovechkin has now moved down to fifth on the list, after being near the top or at the top almost every year prior.
Jason Robertson is also a new addition to the top 10 after not being in the top 10 in NHL 23. Jason Robertson has only improved every year he has been in the league. He has only been in the NHL with the Dallas Stars for four seasons, but this past most season saw him have a career best 46 goals, 63 assists, for 109 points. Jason Robertson is making a name for himself as one of the best players in the NHL and that doesn’t appear that, that will be slowing down anytime soon.
With that being said, all of the players on this list are extremely talented and some of these players may be able to call themselves a Stanley Cup Champion at the end of the season. Until then, all we can do is wait till NHL 24 is released so we can start using these tremendous athletes.
