The Waterwraith

This guy made me incredibly uneasy.

Something about the Waterwraith’s blank face is deeply troubling to me. It’s an interdimensional being that lurks in caves, ready to steamroll anything in its path.

What’s funny is that the final battle with the Waterwratih is easy. You throw some Purple Pikmin at it, and the monster is down for the count.

Now that I look back, the music is what truly got under my skin. Though the song is dynamic and impressive, it’s also intense. I’ll admit to panicking the first time I heard it.

And, as dumb as it may sound, I had a nightmare where the Waterwraith chased me while its theme song played in the background.
