Jumpscares

I really didn’t think jumpscares would be a concern in Pikmin 4 — but they were.

Bloodthirsty foes often fell from above or popped out of the ground, ready to annihilate me and my Pikmin. These enemies were usually powerful bosses waiting to strike in open spaces.

Therefore, I’d tense up when encountering empty areas. I’d prepare myself for the worst, only to be startled by weird-looking creatures yet again.

Speaking of strange-looking enemies brings me to my next point.
