Kid Stuff

“Kid Stuff” is one of my favorite traits in Starfield. With this trait, your “parents are alive and well, and you can visit them at their home.” What does this mean exactly?

For starters, it means you can meet and interact with your parents. At select moments in the story, there will be times when you can have conversations with them. And they may even pop up at the most unexpected of times!

But perhaps the best part about this trait is that they’ll occasionally give you a free gift in the form of Sir Livingston’s Pistol, Grandpa’s Mealtloaf Recipe, Gran-gran’s Spacesuit and Gran-gran’s Helmet, and — best of all — a brand new Starship.

The downside of this is that you must pay them 2% of your credits every weak. It’s a relatively small price to pay for having them around and, if it gets too annoying, you can always remove the trait by cutting them off.
