Starfield Early Access Start and Global Release times for Xbox and PC

At long last, Starfield is finally almost upon us. In just a few days, you’ll finally be able to unlock the mysteries of the galaxy as a member of Constellation. Starfield officially releases for Xbox Series X|S and PC on September 6; however, those who purchase one of the special editions can get up to five days early access and start playing as soon as August 31.

With Starfield just days away, Bethesda has shared the global release times for both dates. When exactly you can start playing depends on the version of the game you purchased and the region of the world you live in.

Starfield Early Access start times

In order to enjoy the Early Access start for Starfield, you’ll need to purchase the Premium Edition ($99.99) or get the Premium Edition Upgrade ($34.99) or Constellation Edition ($300) for Xbox or PC. Because the Standard Edition of Starfield is free through Xbox Game Pass, you can purchase the Premium Edition Upgrade to get early access, additional digital items, and in-game items.

Pre-loading for Starfield has already begun, allowing you to download and install the game well in advance of its release. This will allow you to jump in and start playing the moment the game unlocks in your region.
