  • Early Access to the Campaign
  • Soap Operator Pack
  • Nemesis Operator Pack
  • 2 Weapon Vaults
  • Blackcell (1 Season) + 30 Additional Tier Skips
  • +5 Battle Pass Tier Skips (PLAYSTATION EXCLUSIVE)

The Cross Gen/Standard Edition is great and offers a lot of pre-order incentives, but if you are feeling a little more adventurous, you can opt in to spend an extra $30 and get the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Vault Edition.

The Vault Edition of Modern Warfare 3 includes everything you get from the Standard Edition, plus a few more bonuses for the extra price. The Nemesis Operator Pack is similar to the Soap Operator Pack except the 4 Operator skins you receive will be from Modern Warfare 3. You will also be receiving 2 Weapon Vaults and the Blackcell Battle Pass Bundle.

The Blackcell Battle Pass Bundle will give you a massive head start on the first season of the Battle Pass. You will unlock tons of rewards from all the Tier Skips that you receive, and you should have no problem maxing out the Battle Pass before anyone else. If you plan on purchasing the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Vault Edition on a PlayStation platform, you will also have the benefit of taking advantage of the PlayStation Exclusive +5 Battle Pass Tier Skips.

While from first glace it might not appear you are getting too many additional perks for the extra $30, you are actually getting a great value when it comes to the Battle Pass alone. The cost of the Battle Pass and all the added Tier Skips exceeds the $30 value, and you are getting all those extra bonuses mentioned up above. The price is well worth it, especially if you plan on grinding out many hours on the game.

Now that you know which each of the two editions offer, you can have a much easier time making a decision. No matter what edition you end up purchasing, you are going to have a very nostalgic experience with all the previous Call of Duty features and maps coming back into the franchise.
