Arizona Cardinals (71 Overall)

Major storyline: What do you do with Kyler Murray at quarterback?

If you like full rebuilds in Madden, there’s no better team than the Arizona Cardinals. Their best player is Strong Safety Budda Baker, and he’s only a 90 overall.

The Cardinals are committed to quarterback Kyler Murray until 2027, so you’ll likely have to build around him. Cutting him likely will result in a ton of dead money, so you’ll have to think creatively with what you want to do here.

But quarterback will be the least of your concerns with Arizona. This is a team with only five players rated 80 overall and above. While there’s not much to look forward to with this team in 2023, it might be worth simming your first season with them and getting to the offseason where the Cardinals will have two firsts, a second and two third-round picks in 2024, along with a fourth-rounder, two fifths and a seventh.
