A new season of football is upon us with this week’s release of Madden 24. Returning to the game this year is the beloved Connected Franchise mode, where you take the helm of your favorite professional football.

There are many factors that go into deciding which team to play as in Connected Franchise Mode. Some like to play as their favorite NFL team, while others like to take a bottom dweller and rebuild them into a contender.

The landscape around the NFL is looking much different after an exciting offseason. We’ve got Aaron Rodgers in New York and with him came receivers Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb from Green Bay. We’ve got a trio of rookie starting quarterbacks in Bryce Young (Carolina Panthers), Anthony Richardson (Indianapolis Colts), and C.J. Stroud (Houston Texans). Jalen Ramsey to the Dolphins and D.J. Moore to the Bears.

While some of the late roster adjustments made during the preseason won’t go live in Madden until the first week of the season, we’ve already got a pretty good idea of where each team stands, ratings-wise, in Madden 24.

On the following pages are some of the teams in Madden 24 that I feel will be fun to play as and rebuild in Connected Franchise Mode.

Tennessee Titans (74 Overall)

Major storyline: Do you compete now or build toward the future?

The Tennessee Titans are in a precarious position. They’ve got some elite talent on their roster in Derrick Henry and DeAndre Hopkins. But both players, especially Henry, are aging out of their prime and playing in the latter half of their career. Can you surround them with enough talent to compete in for a championship in what very well could be their final seasons?

Or do you trade them and complete the rebuild yourself? The Titans drafted Kentucky quarterbacks Will Levis in the second round and he’ll compete with Malik Willis for the backup job behind Ryan Tannehill. Do you roll with Tannehill in hopes of competing this season or do you see what you have in Levis?

There are some intriguing decisions to make as GM and coach of the Tennessee Titans in Madden 24.
