Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date pushed up a week
The Assassin’s Creed franchise is a highly iconic and major video game franchise in the video game industry. The franchise has proved to become extremely successful and with each new installment comes a whole lot of excitement. The newest installment scheduled to come out this October is titled Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s release date was originally scheduled for October 12. However, Ubisoft confirmed that the release date would be changed in their most recent Tweet.
Normally, when a developer announced a change in the release date, it is for the worst. It usually means there is a delay of some sort causing the release date to be changed for a bit further into the future. In this case, that is not the case. It is the complete opposite. Ubisoft confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Mirage has gone gold and is coming out an entire week early to be released on October 5.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage going gold is a huge step in the development process. If you are unfamiliar with the term “Gone Gold,” it means that the game is done with the main development, and it is in the final stage before being released. In other words, the game is finished and is ready to be released.
October is going to be a big month for video game releases. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to be released, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is scheduled to be released, and there are also a handful of other games that have October release dates. It is also speculated that NHL 24 is going to have an October release date as well.
We already know that Mirage isn’t going to be as long as a game as Valhalla was. Plus, we know that there are no current plans for DLC. However, you will have the chance to get your hands on the game an entire week early. If you haven’t gotten the chance to pre-order a copy for yourself, you still have plenty of time to do so. Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
