Madden 24: All 32 starting quarterback ratings at launch

27. Kenny Pickett (Pittsburgh Steelers) – 73 OVR

Pickett didn’t put up tremendous numbers as a rookie — throwing more interceptions (9) than touchdowns (7) — but the No. 20 overall pick for the Steelers could make a big leap in his sophomore season. His 73 overall at the start of Madden 24 isn’t great, but there’s a chance that improves in his second season as a starter.

26. C.J. Stroud (Houston Texans) – 73 OVR

I don’t know if C.J. Stroud will be the starting quarterback for the Houston Texans in Week 1, but there’s no doubt he’s the future for the franchise. In Madden 24, he’s the best-rated quarterback on the Texans with a 73 overall. A dual-threat quarterback, Stroud has 82 Speed, 87 Acceleration and 80 Agility. Here’s what his arm looks like though:

25. Brock Purdy (San Francisco 49ers) – 73 OVR

Similar to Stroud, I don’t know if Brock Purdy will be the starter for the 49ers in Week 1, but he is the best of the three quarterbacks the 49ers have right now. Both Sam Darnold and Trey Lance are both rated 71 overall, while Purdy is rated 73. It’s not that Lance isn’t talented, but the No.3. pick in the 2021 NFL Draft just hasn’t been able to stay on the field due to injury. Thankfully, regardless of which quarterback you roll with in Madden 24, there’s enough talent on offense to help them succeed.
