Madden 24: All 32 starting quarterback ratings at launch

30. Anthony Richardson (Indianapolis Colts) – 70 OVR

Anthony Richardson only started in 12 games in college, but that didn’t stop the Colts from taking a gamble on him with the No. 4 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Richardson is going to be one of the most explosive quarterbacks in the league thanks, in large part, to his supernatural athleticism. He’s been described as a “bigger version of Michael Vick,” and we all saw what Vick was able to do to defenses. If you’re playing as Anthony Richardson and the Colts in Madden 24, you’re going to want to take advantage of his running ability — 91 Speed (4th fastest QB), 92 Acceleration, 88 Agility — but eventually you will need to pass the ball.

29. Jacoby Brissett/Sam Howell (Washington Commanders) – 72 OVR

There’s a good chance Sam Howell is going to be the starting quarterback for the Washington Commanders, but for now it’s Jacoby Brissett with the better overall in Madden 24. Brissett is rated 72 overall at launch, while Howell is just 66 overall. Neither one feels like a particularly exciting option but if you’re playing as Washington in Madden 24, Brissett may be the better option. Below are both quarterback ratings:

28. Baker Mayfield (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) – 72 OVR

Replacing Tom Brady is no easy task. It will be either Baker Mayfield or Kyle Trask doing so, following the future Hall of Fame quarterback’s retirement this offseason. Mayfield has been the edge when it comes to ratings in Madden 24 and by a long shot. Mayfield enters with a 72 overall, while Kyle Trask is just a 59 overall. Mayfield is certainly no Tom Brady and while he’s had his ups and downs as a quarterback in the NFL, he is a capable starter:
